About Us
Despite living in one of the country’s most progressive communities, many of Los Angeles’s Black, Native American & Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, and Pacific Islander youth experience disparities and barriers to opportunity. Bold Vision is a multi-sector, multi-year initiative that aims to transform systems within L.A. County to ensure that youth of color thrive and meet their fullest potential.
The Bold Vision framework identifies systems changes that will promote youth thriving.

Bold Vision’s comprehensive framework serves as a roadmap for achieving a central goal: changing conditions so that youth of color can thrive. The framework includes actionable policy and indicator recommendations, and is anchored in the principles of racial equity & solidarity and community organizing & power building.
History
Bold Vision started in 2019 with an extensive community engagement process reaching over 140 organizations and over 150 youth of color from throughout L.A. County. Throughout, the work was guided by a Community Council comprised of 13 people of color-led youth-serving and youth-organizing organizations. The community engagement process resulted in the final Bold Vision framework.
